Double Girder Overhead Traveling Cranes

Double Girder Overhead Traveling Cranes

Double girder overhead traveling cranes consist of two bridge girders and two end carriages, which hold these bridge girders together while enabling the crane to move along the working hall. One of the bridge girders is equipped with a maintenance platform along its length, designed to comply with occupational health and safety standards. All calculations are meticulously performed in accordance with FEM standards and DIN norms.

Double girder overhead traveling cranes are among the most preferred types of cranes for indoor use. The girder design and calculations are carefully carried out by RAYNO Engineers, taking all adverse conditions into account to ensure high quality at minimal cost. All steel materials used are DIN10204 3.1 certified.

The wheels, bearings, shafts, keys, and bolt connections used in the end carriages are selected based on the required crane capacity and the designed bridge girders. The bridge travel speeds are determined according to customer requirements and industry standards. Frequency inverters (drivers) are used in all systems, allowing for smooth acceleration and deceleration adjustments, preventing sudden starts and stops, and thus extending the lifespan of the materials used.

The brake system consists of electromagnetic, high-torque, spring-loaded negative brakes, providing twice the torque of the calculated maximum load. The use of RAYNO brand remote control is a standard feature in all our cranes. Similarly, the travel gearbox selection is made considering the lifting capacity, bridge design, and travel speed.

All calculations and design files prepared for each customer are meticulously stored within our company and are not shared with third parties.
